Been sick

April 2, 2010

It is hard to write because I am feeling really lousy. Sickness just keeps hanging on. I will be back when I can.

  1. We all get that… truly. Thank you for letting your readers know. When one of goes ‘underground’ it’s worrisome for all, so giving a head’s up helps a lot.

    Keeping you close in thought,

  2. Don’t worry about the blog….we will all be here when you get back! Take care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon!

  3. Thanks, guys. It is so hard for me to stay down. My tendency is to push myself. So I am up and I am down…doing bits here and there. I am so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. Well…it’s back to resting for me.

I appreciate your concern. Yeah…it can be unnerving when you don’t hear from someone for a while.

  4. Awww. Praying for you. Hugs!

    • Thanks…hugs are appreciated. I am still coughing like crazy. I have been up and down all day…mostly up because I don’t really like to lay down unless I am going to sleep. Issues…issues…issues.

  5. Okay, think girl. SRA… Easter… this is not your battle. You didn’t do this. You, in 2010, choose Grace . You were not there. You and I do not even know that this myth is even true. Breathe. You, as ONESURVIROR have been born to this time for a glorious reason, and I believe you will know this reason, just as those, who loved their Creator, knew their reason for BEING in the very moments they lived them. WE ARE LOVED, and I know you know this in your deepest heart. Live your love, and reject the rest.

    • Thanks for caring, Meredith…it means a lot. I think something got a bit miscommunicated somewhere. 🙂 The only battle I am fighting at the moment is one of being sick and coughing. The other issues are almost always there in one form or another. There are reasons why this time of year tends to be more difficult, but that only started about 9 years ago and has nothing to do with any religious holiday. In fact, it has actually been a bit easier this year…all things considered. (I see another post is this, too. *smile*)

Right now…for me…it is about being sick…which I am actually handling better than usual for some reason, too. I just hate being nonproductive. I would rather sit at my pc and at least write…which is one of my loves…than lay around doing nothing…unless, of course, I am sleeping. 🙂

BTW…I know the reason they thought I was born for…but the Creator trumps them in all of their plans.

Not sure what you are referring to as “myth”. Wanna share? Sounds like it might make for an interesting dialog…or perhaps…another post. 🙂

  6. Feel better! Find peace in your rest.

  7. Let “nothing” stand in the way of getting better. In other words, take it easy, meditate and let all your cares turn to nothing before arising anew like an Easter flower.

    • Hey, michael…I hear ya. I am working on resting as best I can…and taking oil of oregano and starting on echinacea…drinking LOTS of fluids…yada yada yada. One difficulty is that I think part of this is a condition that comes with the area we live in. That is ongoing. So, it can hard to separate the ongoing from the momentary. If it is the ongoing…I push myself to move beyond it. But if it is momentary…I definitely need to rest and get better. It is a tricky balance. Wisdom needed for sure! 🙂

  8. So sorry you are sick… I hope you feel better soon!

  9. Please take good care of yourself.

  10. Thanks, Radical Hope. You, too!

  11. I just had to stop by and respond to your comment on my picture….you were absolutely right!!!! Like you had looked at that picture and seen into what my heart was saying!! Amazing! I am thankful for those swirls of color and good memories amidst the darkness.

I’m sorry this is a hard month for you. I accept your gentle hugs and send some back to you. Also some prayers.

Please feel free to share your thoughts.
