My True Identity!

What I have been through and done is NOT who I am! I am a beloved daughter of the Most High God…I am a bat-El ‘Elyon! My identity is tied up in my Creator and my heart connection to/with Him.

I am a uniquely created person…created with purpose. I have a calling…a reason for being created. My abusers like to think that they had something to do with who and what I am. However, they could do NOTHING outside of the Creator allowing it…and the Creator using it for His glory and for ultimate good. He uses my experiences of abuse to be able to reach out to others who have also been abused.

I was created to be given a choice to freely love Him and serve Him…and that I do freely choose. For more about my Creator, go to Who Keeps Me Going.

  1. The picture above is unusual. Is it the bottom of a bridge where sunlight beckons one to approach?

The concrete seems broken in parts, but shows a strength to endure and carry the heaviest loads above.

    Good to read you again.

    • Hi, Michael! It is good to hear from you again. I am going to try and find that whole picture and post it in my blog. The one you see is a crop down.

    • Hey, Michael, check out the page called “Header Photos”.

  2. Hi.. just stumbled on your blog.. It is nice and it seems you had been to a very unpleasant previous experience..

Take care and good to know that you find strength from the man up there.. You will be fine….

    hope we can be friends…

    • Thank you, Cyra. Yes…I have had many unpleasant experiences, but life is about so much more than those. *smile*

I read a bit of your blog and I am curious. Have you renounced your home country? Or are you simply choosing to live elsewhere for the time being? Expat can mean either.

      Thank you for coming by!

  3. Today I choose to see my experiences as an incest survivor and daughter of an alcoholic as blessings. Without these experiences I would not be who I am today and I like who I am today. All of my strengths came about because of the incest.

    • I hear you, Patricia. All of our experiences shape us into who we are today…whether we consider them to be positive or negative.
