Who Keeps Me Going

Well, the long and the short of it is that my Creator is who keeps me going. He has a name. It is Yahweh…the God of the Bible. He is the Three in One…Abba/Father, Son/Yeshua/Jesus and Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit.

I am simply not able to do life without Him. But then, why would I WANT to do life without Him. He is the only One who holds the real key to my real purpose for being here. It is His love, and His love alone, that really completes me.

He has led me, protected me and taken me on a healing journey. He has shown me things about myself and about the world that have helped me to heal and to survive and to love. He has changed me…and continues to change me…from the inside out. He has comforted me and taught me.

The biggest gift of all is the forgiveness He has given me. Before I was His child, I was a child of Adam and, like my forebears, sinned against God. I was born with rebellion in my heart, just like all humans are. What is beyond my comprehension and totally incredible to me is that my Creator sent a part of Himself (Yeshua/Jesus) in human form to do what was needed so we humans could become His children again. He forgave my rebellion and sin. He took away the evil in my heart and made me a new creation inside.

He did not make me perfect. That is something that we are both still working on and will continue to work on until He comes back for me.

  1. While it would be very interesting to hear how your deliverance came about, it is much greater to understand the depth and reality of your redemption and transformation, and for that there is no need to rehearse things of the past.

Thank you for taking the time and having the courage to share a few of your thoughts.

    • Thank you for coming by. Rehearsing some of the things of the past is suitable in sharing how very great is His deliverance. However, it is not the focus of my life. I keep striving to move forward while asking my heavenly Abba to draw me closer to Him. He has brought me through…and out of…many hard things. I know He will continue to do so! 🙂

      • That’s all very evident in the things you’ve written, thanks again!

Please feel free to share your thoughts.
